Big Monkey’s season of ‘Once a Jolly Jumbuck’ at the Botanical Gardens was hugely popular this year, with some very big attendances. The public season of Big Monkey’s production of Once a Jolly Jumbuck is now in full swing at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens!
Come and enjoy the fun with Cocky, Bilby and all their friends as their lives are thrown into chaos when drought hits Cooee Creek. If the animals don’t get a fresh supply of water soon they’ll have to leave their beloved home. Matilda the Sheep turns up with a solution and Professor Platypus knows a thing or two but Crow and Brown Snake are lurking, ready to ruin everyone’s plans.
A delightful, truly Australian adventure full of laughs and original songs, Once a Jolly Jumbuck is an adaptation of Les Winspear’s original production of Chaos at Cooee Creek.
Dates and times for the season:
Wednesday – Friday: 11am daily
Saturday: 2 shows per day at 11am and 2pm
Sunday: 2pm
