Since she was a small child, my daughter and I have enjoyed every production for children in the Botanical Gardens. We often take pleasure recalling the various performances, recalling specific details. She is now 22, as graduated from the University of Tasmania, and will be moving to Melbourne in two weeks time. For old time's sake we went along to the Minotaur Quest yesterday afternoon and were thoroughly entertained and delighted - it was absolutlely excellent! Congratulations! As my daughter got older we started to go to other live theatre performances and "graduated" to attending the Shakespeare in the Gardens productions year after year; we never miss a Bell Shakespeare production either. I truly believe that taking young children to shows like yours can foster a love of live theatre and a lifetime of enjoyment. Thank you! I will be back next year!

Hey, I was present for the Gala performance, and it's a hoot! Performed in three location sets in the the lovely Botanical Gardens, the topical theme of drought underlies a delightful Aussie story with humour and lively theatrics that engaged with all ages.

My family attended the performance of "Woodsong" on Sunday June 7 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The play was engaging on many levels. It was entertaining as well as educational and very well performed. It spoke to both children and adults succinctly. More please!

We (mum, daughters 14 & 16) thoroughly enjoyed this witty, well acted performance at the Botanical Gardens on Friday, and highly recommend it to all ages. The clever use of props and the environment would appeal to all students of drama as well.
