Big Monkey will be performing WOODSONG by Les Winspear at the Royal Tamanian Botanical Gardens Envirofest on June 7th 2009.

Is the pen mightier than the saw?

In Woodsong fact and fantasy are woven together into a delightful collage of humour, story and song. From chainsaws to tree spirits, from ancient folklore to modern science.

Come on a journey of discovery that will lead you towards a better understanding and appreciation of our dependence on trees, from the beginning of time till the present day.

    My family attended the performance of “Woodsong” on Sunday June 7 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The play was engaging on many levels. It was entertaining as well as educational and very well performed. It spoke to both children and adults succinctly. More please!
